Charlize Theron was born on 7 August 1975 in Benoni, South Africa. She has studied as ballet dancer. Charlize soon left South Africa because there wasn't much to do for a young actress and dancer. So she travelled to Europe and USA. She worked as a photo model. At the age of 18 she moved to Los Angeles to try a career in the movie industry. When she came to La, nobody knew her but in two weeks she met an agent in Hollywood Boulevard and after eight months she had her first part. Since then she has taken acting lessons and lately she has played a role in Devil's Advocate, The.
